Remembering Dianne “Dragon Lady” Kruger

Dianne was a nurse at camp for 20 years and provided loving care to generations of Camp Northland campers and staff. She was known affectionately as ‘Dragon Lady’ in irony against the backdrop of her loving care and compassion for all of us. She will be missed by so many but never forgotten.

She passed at Haliburton Hospital on Friday evening, November 10, 2017 in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Kruger. Loving mother of Don (Angela) and Denise. Fondly remembered by her grandsons Logan and Kurt. Dear sister of Sylvia (Art deBoer) and Carol Huston. Predeceased by her parents William & Beryl Davidson, her step-father Art Dunsmore, her step-brother Paul and her step-sister Lynn. Also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Dianne was a Registered Nurse since 1968 and worked up until 2015. She enjoyed working with the children at Camp Northland, travelling to Vegas and many other sunny destinations and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services would be appreciated by the family.
