Arts And CraftsCreative expression can be explored with NBB’s Arts & Crafts program.  Campers have the opportunity to build upon their own artistic skills or to learn new ones. Sketching, painting, sculpting, pottery, and crafts are all part of this traditional camp favourite, with additional creative art projects such as cake decorating, piñata making, tye dye’ing, and copper enamelling. Our artistic staff help campers explore and make beautiful and memorable take home projects.
AdventureAdventure (High & Low Ropes courses) helps campers develop many life-long skills such as problem solving, cooperation, trust, and perseverance. The motto ‘Challenge by Choice’ allows campers to push themselves to their own comfort level through individual and group tasks. Test your skills on our rock-climbing wall, high ropes vertical playground, or low ropes cooperative challenges. Our courses are professionally built and our staff is professionally trained so that safety is the #1 backdrop to tons of fun!
CanoeWhat better way to experience the serenity of our Canadian wilderness than from paddling the lake in a canoe?  Strokes, T-rescues and sterning are just some of the skills campers will learn. Exploring Moose Lake and the Oblong River, canoeing to overnight sites, and participating in creative activities like Canoe Water Polo let campers have fun while putting their new skills to use! Skill badges are also awarded at the end of each session.
Canoe TripsA canoe trip is about peacefully connecting with nature: Awakening to a glassy lake, making breakfast on the campfire, paddling the day with the sun on your back, watching the sun set behind the pine trees, seeing a million stars overhead, falling asleep to the call of the loon. This is how children become self-reliant and come to know and love nature.
* This optional off-site program is available to Senior campers.
